ABOUT ME
I was born in 2000 in Washington, DC (USA) to a German father and a Japanese mother. I go to the German School in Washington, DC during the School Year. Each year during the 2-months Summer Vacation, I go to a Japanese-Argentine School in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Where am I from? I don't really know.
But let's talk about music. When I was about 6, I decided I wanted to be a singer. I always enjoyed singing, and started at age 3 with singing lessons, singing Disney songs. My mother tells me I used to memorize the songs quickly and I always had the loudest voice. ;-) There isn't much, besides music, that makes me happy. Sometimes I think that music is the only focus in my life.
Well, maybe there is something else ... Ballet and Dance. I have been studying Ballet since age 4, and I am a dancer in the Shizumi Kodomo Dance Troupe, which performs in the Washington, DC area. We also perform every year at the Cherry Blossom Festival, and were on tour in Japan.
Right now I am writing songs, and my Dad (who is a musical performer) gives me the opportunity to record the songs I write. The one in the video on my home page is the first of my own songs that I recorded.
Sometimes i also apply in Competitions like the "Sing into Spring 2014" concert.
I was also chosen to sing the Japanese National Anthem for the grand opening of the Cherry blossom Festival in 2014.
